Diverse Teaching Requires Diverse Partners

Working in conjunction with the Poway Unified School District, Poway City Council, Poway Chamber of Commerce, George Plescia, State Assemblyman, Brian Maienschein, San Diego City COuncil member, Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary, Los Rancheros Kiwanis Club and San Diego County Parks and Recreation, Backyard Tourist, Inc. provides unique outdoor educational programs, for students enrolled in the Poway Unified School District.

As a leading San Diego organization in environmental concern and activism, Backyard Tourist Inc believes that "Our Earth is too precious to lose." Membership dues help provide additional funding to pursue important environmental issues. Donations to Backyard Tourist are tax-deductible....

Thanks again to the Los Rancheros Kiwanis for their generous grant, the Freedom Award, which will provide the resources for the Coyote Youth Project to continue to make a difference for the students of Abraxas High School. We would also like to thank the Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary for their donation this summer which allowed the Coyote Youth to continue their program during summer school.

With the continued support of these community partners and the future donations of other corporations and community organizations, we hope to expand the Coyote Youth Project throughout all of San Diego County.
