Lake Poway

Every Tuesday, after school, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, students, teachers, parents and staff members join Susan and Tom, Coyote Youth Directors, at Lake Poway for boating and fishing. Working in partnership with the City of Poway Recreation Department, Abraxas High School has a wonderful After School Program. Funded by grant, after school programs are a great way for teens to experience new acitivites. New students wishing to sign up should see Susan or Tom during lunch. Permission slips are required,

On May 25th, Tom caught his first fish! A HUGE trout! Well, not that huge, but it sure tasted terrific after it was cooked on the barbecue! Congratulations, Tom.
