Kids Fire Safety House

In Partnership with the City of Poway Fire Department

On May 22nd, 2004, Abraxas High School students manned the Kids Fire Safety House for the first time at the City of Poway's Health and Safety Fair. Over one hundred children were taught safety procedures. Immensely successful, all the high school students indicated that the most important part of this community service project is that "they may have helped save a child's life." Wow!

The Kids Fire Safety House will be visiting Painted Rock Elementary in the fall of 2004.
