Backyard Tourist is dedicated to the safety and survival of all. Workshops designed for city/county employees promote the idea that if employees and their families are prepared and understand the basic concepts of urban survival, they will stay on the job during an emergency.
The City of Chula Vista, under the guidance of Carlos Bejar, Emergency Manager, is working with Backyard Tourist's Ready or Not instructors to provide training for all city employees. The first training session took place on August 2nd, 2006.
